Coming to the dentist for kids (and yes, even for adults too) is no easy task! Everyone at Hanover Dental Sedation shares a similar goal: to create a “kid-friendly” environment where families feel welcome, and receive care that is unique to their childs’ needs. I try to treat everyone as if I am treating my own son or daughter. Through my appointments, I encourage communication – whether it’s through welcoming questions, singing songs to the “little” ones, educating families on how to prevent cavities, or explaining the steps of a procedure – I find that children pick up on the positive vibes and thrive in these kinds of environments.

My approach during care is to give children a sense of control, and to motivate children to take care of their own dental health to prevent problems as they get older. I look forward to seeing you in the clinic where we can share some stories, give “high-fives”, and most importantly, make coming to the dentist a rewarding experience!
